We are known in our community as GLH. In addition to being an active homestead, we do the best we can to help folks like you with advice that can help make your homestead living better.

We come into contact with lots of people like you who are pursuing homestead living. Many are young families on small properties with  gardening, chickens, and some raising animals…perhaps just like you.

Learning and working together, all of us have experienced growth in our knowledge about homestead living. This wisdom is being passed on to you as an extension into your own homestead living community.

As things progressed, we were asked many of the same questions. It became obvious that there’s much valuable information to be shared. This was the genesis of the Green Learning Homestead and it’s now extended to you on a much broader scale through this website.
